Thrive 2019-09-09

Today on the first hour of the show we talk about how developing a mindfulness practice can transform our lives. Our guest is Mark Coleman, a long-time mindfulness teacher and author of the book From Suffering to Peace: The True Promise of Mindfulness.

Then, during the second hour, we talk about thriving in life despite living with a life-threatening diagnosis. How does one do it? For this conversation, we are joined by Celeste Watkins-Hayes, a professor at Northwestern University and author of the book, Remaking a Life: How Women Living with HIV/AIDS Confront Inequality.
